This Privacy Policy explains how CreatrAds ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use creatrads.com. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account or use our platform:
- Full name, email address, and password
- Username and phone number
- Social media handle (for creators)
- Company name, contact name, and website (for brands)
- Profile bio and logo or profile image
- Video content you upload as listings
- Offer amounts, messages, and transaction history
- Ad Request posts and submission details
We also collect certain information automatically when you use the platform, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Operate the marketplace and facilitate transactions between creators and brands
- Send transactional emails such as offer notifications and purchase confirmations
- Improve and maintain the platform
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Shared with Other Users
Certain information is visible to other users of the platform as part of normal marketplace activity:
- Your username and profile bio are visible on your public listings
- Brand company names and logos are visible on Ad Requests and in the marketplace
- Offer amounts and messages are visible to both the creator and the brand involved in a transaction
We do not share your email address, phone number, or password with other users.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform. These services may process your data as necessary to provide their functionality:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — website hosting and deployment
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (coming soon)
Each of these providers maintains their own privacy practices. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. Video Content and Intellectual Property
When you upload a video listing to CreatrAds, it is stored in our Supabase storage and may be displayed publicly on the marketplace for brands to view and purchase.
Upon a completed purchase, rights to the video are transferred to the purchasing brand as defined in our Terms of Service. Until a sale is completed, you retain ownership of your content.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our active systems within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
Purchased video content may be retained in connection with completed transactions as part of the rights transfer record.
7. Cookies and Tracking
CreatrAds uses minimal cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
If you clear your browser cookies, you will be logged out of the platform.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies, and secure authentication. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
9. Children's Privacy
CreatrAds is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your information. To make a request, contact us at the email below.
You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
12. DMCA Policy
CreatrAds respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
Send your DMCA takedown notice by email to contact@creatrads.com with the subject line: DMCA Notice — [Listing URL or Username].
Required Information
To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of the infringing material and its location on the platform (URL or sufficient identifying detail)
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
How CreatrAds Responds
Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, CreatrAds will review the notice for legal sufficiency, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, and notify the user who uploaded it. Users who repeatedly infringe copyrights may have their accounts permanently terminated.
Counter-Notification Process
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include your signature, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and consent to jurisdiction of the applicable federal court.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, CreatrAds will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days, CreatrAds may restore the removed content at its discretion.
